Dr. Leah Walsh

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Dr. Leah Walsh’s interest in veterinary medicine began in childhood, inspired by a fascination with animals and the bond they share with people. That early passion grew into a lifelong commitment to advancing animal health and well-being. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Washington State University before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Florida in 2025. Throughout her training, Dr. Walsh gained broad clinical experience and developed special interests in clinical and shelter medicine, with a particular focus on surgery, neurology, and internal medicine. She is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care for her patients. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Walsh enjoys spending time with her husband and their two dogs, Carl and Ethel. She also loves being outdoors, playing pickleball, and baking.
